Misconduct and Disqualification Policy

ARTiBA holds every candidate to the highest standards of ethical behavior during the certification process. Misconduct during the examination—whether deliberate or accidental—compromises the credibility of the credentialing process and is taken very seriously.

Misconduct includes but is not limited to:

  • Cheating or attempting to cheat in any form
  • Using unauthorized reference materials, devices, or notes
  • Impersonating another candidate or allowing someone else to take the exam
  • Tampering with exam content or attempting to copy, record, or distribute it
  • Communicating with anyone during the exam window
  • Attempting to bypass exam platform security features
  • Switching tabs or launching unapproved software/applications during the exam

If any such behavior is detected by the proctor or through platform monitoring tools, the candidate may be disqualified immediately. Consequences include:

  • Immediate termination of the exam session
  • Revocation of eligibility or previously awarded certification
  • Temporary or permanent ban from ARTiBA certification programs

All violations are documented, and the final decision on disqualification lies solely with ARTiBA. No certification will be issued, nor will fees be refunded in the event of confirmed misconduct.
